Blender Animation Keyframes Not Showing. When i switch to animation tab, my keyframes also go away, but when i select my characters armature in the 3d view, the keyframes come back. Exact steps for others to reproduce the error.

The way animations work in blender is kind of more complicated than it needs to be. Two, it's easy to shift the timeline around in the vertical axis, hiding some keyframes. Maybe you haven’t turned autokey on.

Keyframes are there @sybren a. There’s not a single timeline view that will show me the keyframes i set, yet the object is turning because of them.

In object mode and in the 3d view, press a until every object is selected… in the dopesheet editor… press a again to select all keyframes for the whole scene… delete them all (make sure you have a backup first, just in case this poochscrews the whole thing) The animation comes over, but nothing is displayed in the dope sheet with the new file.

So far i've tried changing/clicking in the view menu of the timeline editor. It would be great to have this working so i can do things like sprite animation, or add modifiers to make material animations loop.

Short Answer That Hopefully Solves It Right Away:

Select the principled bsdf node; I cannot figure out how to view those keyframes so i can make changes such as the interpolation. I did an animation in one file and tried to both copy and paste the object, and append the objects with the animation key frames, into a new file.
